In cases when alignment of leadership competencies with strategic direction is important to the process, we use Strategic Directions®, a very participative and informative process to help you define leadership behaviors needed to drive the strategic direction of the organization. Participants privately choose the competencies they think are needed to shape the future of the organization. Then, through a facilitated process, we help you achieve consensus around those leadership practices that are most critical. We find that the process of negotiating leadership competencies can be as valuable and informative to participants as the final outcome.
